Placing your order

We will accept orders by telephone, email, fax or via our website. If your company uses Purchase Order Numbers, please give this when you place your order. At times your order may be delayed due to shortage of stock, or by supplier error. APC Workwear Limited reserves the right to substitute an item with a close alternative should stock be unavailable. We make all efforts to keep items in stock, but in certain circumstances and due to demand we may need to re-order. You will be notified if there is a problem with your order.

A Small Order Charge of £10 + VAT is payable on orders of 8 personalised garments or less.



We will accept designs by email, post or via our website, and JPEG or PDF formats are preferred. Upon receipt of design, you will receive a proof (or proofs) within approximately 5-7 working days. Set-Up Charges may be applicable. Please check carefully, sign if correct and return. Once we have approval, processing of your order can commence.

Free embroidery is limited to text only and of Breast size (approx 25 characters and 10cm square).

Due to working with various sized ready-made garments we are unable to guarantee the exact logo positioning on each and every garment.

We are able to apply designs onto customer’s own garments, however this is offered entirely at the Customer’s own risk to their clothing.

All decorations used on this website are to show the decoration of the garment only. The logos and trademarks displayed, and any copyrights subsisting therein, are owned by their respective proprietors. The illustrations are to show the quality and decoration methods available and do not imply in any way whatsoever an association between the proprietor of the logo / trademark and APC Workwear Limited.


Payment terms

If terms are agreed, payment is due 30 days from the date of the invoice, otherwise payment is due on collection / despatch. We reserve the right to obtain a 50% deposit on your first order.

Overdue accounts
We reserve the right to apply an interest charge of 2.5% per month or part thereof for overdue invoices and to withhold further supplies until the arrears are paid. In the event of APC Workwear Limited having to use a collection agency to recover outstanding debts, a fee amounting to 30% of the total debt will be added to cover the cost of collection.


Title of goods

The risk in the goods passes to the purchaser upon despatch, but the property in the products sold shall not pass to the buyer until the buyer has made full payment in respect of the products. The title shall remain fully in the name of APC Workwear Limited until the goods are paid in full.



All deliveries are subject to carriage charges and will be sent out as a standard 3 day delivery, unless otherwise agreed. Overnight deliveries/special deliveries will be charged at the prevailing carrier rates, unless otherwise agreed.


Loss or damage in transit

In the case of damage or shortage, the customer must notify both the carrier and APC Workwear Limited immediately upon receipt of the order.


VAT and Pricing

VAT is not included on prices listed on this website, unless otherwise stated. VAT is payable on all rateable products, at the current rate.

All prices listed on this website are per garment / item unless otherwise stated. All prices and colours are correct at present time and are subject to change without notice.


Returns policy

In the event of queries, claim, damages or short delivery, notification must be given in writing within 5 days of delivery/collection date. APC Workwear Limited accepts no responsibility for incorrect customer ordering of size, colour or type of garments.


Garment care

Grooming and trimming

Through no fault of quality, pilling and bobbling can occur when fibres work loose if there is excessive friction on certain fabrics. A gentle brush usually resolves this issue.



Shrinkage is commonly caused by overheating in the washing machine or tumble drier, particularly on 100% cotton garments. Always follow the washing guideline instructions on the label.

Where screen printing or heat sealing has been applied, garments should be washed no higher than 30 degrees and never tumble dried to ensure maintaining application.



Protect garments against direct contact with chemicals such as bleaching agents in the wash, or perfume, etc.



Ironing at temperatures that are too high can cause unsightly shine marks on matt fabrics. Remember that man-made fibres are vulnerable to high heat. Turn down the iron, iron inside-out or cover with a damp tea towel beforehand. Screen printed or heat sealed designs should never be ironed.
